We are a personal chef style catering service. All of our culinary offerings are fully prepared by our chef(s) in your home or venue kitchen.

It is with this philosophy in mind that I founded Suddenly Simple Events in an effort to assist those who may not have the time or expertise to bring their unique vision to life, or simply want to spend more time on what's most important to them at and leading up to their event.

MEET MELISSA
Melissa Peralta is a free spirited entrepreneur who has created a career out of her passion for food and love of bringing her creative visions to life. With a unique education history, and decade-plus long career in the hospitality and service industry under her belt, (as well as successful stint in corporate training!) Melissa is perfectly suited for her dynamic position as our head Chef and coordinator of all things Suddenly Simple!
When Melissa isn't working with Suddenly Simple Events, you can find her focused on her mission to help create more positive associations with healthy living through her company Mood Food Wellness Co. or involved with one of the many community service projects that she is a part of.

"I'll be the very first to admit that I didn't think I needed a day-of-wedding coordinator for my DIY wedding this August. I'm a planner by nature and wanted to plan and choose all the little details for myself, but was unsure how I was going to maintain the timeline of the day and run the event while also being present in it.

This will be my number one piece of advice to all brides going forward. Even if you want to DIY your wedding, you NEED a day-of service to let someone else handle the small details while you soak up the day. Specifically, you need Suddenly Simple Events.
